This amazing place is located at the Baldi River near the Robbers’ cave. Dehradun is known as the Drona Nagari because of Guru Dronacharya’s ashram located here. Well, this shows that the association of the city with education is right from the mythological era.

Dehradun is well connected with airways and railways having its domestic airport and a railway station. Sahastradhara is around 19 km from the Dehradun city and can be reached by car, cabs, auto, buses and any vehicle. To reach the hilltop, you have to take the ropeway.

Joyland water park is also there for enjoyment. If you are not satisfied with the man-made water park then there are areas of a natural waterfall, sulphur water springs and caves. Cafes and eateries are there for refreshments and you would also come across various props where you could pose. You will find numerous corners in this place suitable for your fancy Instagram backdrops.
